What is Traxx?
Traxx® is a patented high-tension aluminium framing system which is used to apply ripple free, high-definition printed banners onto the side of commercial vehicles.
Responsibilities & Required Experience
- No previous experience is required
- Good English skills with clear handwriting
- Good maths skills
- Be computer literate
- Be well presented with a can-do attitude
- Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence
Regular job tasks would include:
- Measuring vehicles correctly for frame calculations
- Use of circular saw to cut frame to correct size, using efficient cuts to reduce waste
- Correct surface preparation for bonding frame
- Ability to install frame using adhesive and/or rivets
- Accurately bonding frame to truck bodies whether against capping or floating frame position
- Fitting banners and tensioning correctly
- Removal of bonded frame for de-fleet or repairs
- Identifying damage and carrying out repairs
Hours: 40 working hours on site per week plus travel to and from site. RGVA operate a 5-in-7 day employment contract meaning that you will usually be required to work Monday-Friday, but occasionally this could also be Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday. Nighttime and unsocial time working is an infrequent request. Overtime is frequently offered.
