What is Traxx?
Traxx is a patented high tension aluminium framing system used to apply ripple free, high definition printed banners to commercial vehicle sides.
About The Role:
Join our award-winning team as a Traxx Installer, where you will receive industry-leading training to install high-definition vehicle framing systems for some of the UK's most iconic brands. Please note that no previous experience is required for this role, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive, 'can-do' attitude and a strong work ethic. A core requirement of this role is the flexibility to travel and work away from home for days at a time. Additionally, due to the hands-on nature of the position, you should be physically fit and comfortable with the frequent lifting and manoeuvring of equipment weighing up to 20kg.
Responsibilities:
- Measuring vehicles accurately for frame calculations
- Cutting aluminium frame using a circular saw, ensuring efficient use of materials
- Preparing surfaces correctly for bonding
- Installing frames using adhesive and/or rivets
- Bonding frames precisely to truck bodies (capping or floating applications)
- Fitting and tensioning banners
- Removing frames during de-fleet or repair work
- Identifying damage and completing necessary repairs
Hours & Working Pattern:
40 hours per week on site, plus travel. RGVA operates a 5 in 7 contract-normally Monday-Friday, with occasional Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday. Night or unsocial hours are rare. Overtime is frequently available.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Good English skills and clear handwriting
- Competent maths skills
- Computer literacy
- A positive, can do attitude
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Ability to handle weights of up to 20kg
- Willingness to travel with regular overnight stays (company van and equipment provided)
- Experience isn't essential-we provide full training.
