The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are looking for an experienced, encouraging and dynamic Teacher of Singing who understands young boy treble voices and is keen to be part of our very musical cathedral prep school. You will be joining a vibrant team of visiting music teachers and be able to start as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about singing and teaching and possess excellent communication skills. You will be experienced in teaching young people in a one-to-one setting and be able to adapt your teaching to a range of styles, abilities and interests. Familiar with both the ABRSM practical and musical theatre grades, you will prepare and encourage your pupils to perform in regular concerts and events.
The successful candidate would initially be teaching one half day a week but the aim at RGS Prep is to increase the number of pupils taking private singing lessons and this may therefore increase.
The RGS has a responsibility for and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The person appointed to this post will be required to apply for an enhanced Disclosure Certificate from the DBS.
