As a Teacher of English at the RGS, you will teach high achieving students at GCSE and A-level. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and those new to the profession and are happy to consider full time or part time hours.
RGS Guildford is becoming co‑educational; girls will be welcomed into the RGS with a phased entry starting in September 2027. As well as nurturing enthusiastic students, the RGS is a welcoming and rewarding place to work, with strengths in scholarship and mutual respect. You will have a passion for the English language and a desire to share this with pupils from the First Form (Year 7) through to the Sixth Form. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who are confident teaching a second subject.
