We're recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Technician to join a well-established engineering manufacturer in the Tamworth area. This is a hands-on, workshop-based role assembling and wiring precision-built machinery and control panels for specialist industrial applications.

The position offers day shifts only, a clean and organised working environment, and the opportunity to work as part of a skilled, supportive production team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and mechanical assembly of machinery, sub-assemblies, and components
  • Control panel wiring from electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Building and testing of finished machines ready for dispatch
  • Carrying out pneumatic installations (training can be provided)
  • Inspection and quality checks on completed builds
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety
  • Assisting with packaging, finishing, and other workshop duties
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical or electrical assembly
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Skilled in panel wiring, mechanical fitting, and fault-finding
  • Good practical knowledge of tools, components, and workshop safety
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
  • Team player who can also work independently
  • Manual handling experience beneficial (forklift licence an advantage)
