The Role
- Working within a busy fabrication department, you'll be responsible for setting, operating and occasionally programming CNC press brakes to manufacture precision sheet metal components to engineering drawings.
- You'll be trusted to produce high-quality components while maintaining excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Setting and operating CNC press brakes.
- Carrying out some machine programming where required.
- Working on both production runs and bespoke fabrications.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure components meet specification.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping.
Requirements
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC press brakes.
- Experience within sheet metal fabrication.
- A strong eye for quality and accuracy.
- Experience using Amada or LVD press brakes would be advantageous but is not essential. Candidates with solid press brake experience gained on other CNC press brake machines are encouraged to apply, as full training will be provided on the company's operating systems.
