An excellent opportunity for a highly organised Document Controller to join a growing engineering environment supporting major projects across HVAC and renewables. This is a key role ensuring the smooth management, control, and distribution of technical documentation across multiple live projects.

The Role

  • You will take ownership of document control processes, working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient handling of all project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain document control systems across multiple projects
  • Ensure all drawings and technical documents are correctly filed, tracked, and accessible
  • Control distribution of documentation to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Maintain document registers, transmittals, and workflows
  • Ensure strict version control and revision tracking
  • Support audits, project reviews, and handover documentation
  • Coordinate document submissions, approvals, and change control
  • Act as the main point of contact for document-related queries
  • Provide general project and administrative support where required

About You

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller within engineering, construction, HVAC or similar sectors
  • Strong understanding of document management systems and processes
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Confident communicator with strong coordination skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • Experience working with technical drawings or engineering documentation
  • Knowledge of ISO standards or quality management systems
