Job Description
Job Title: CNC Grinder – Cylindrical
Brentwood, Essex
£14.00 – £19.00 per hour (DOE)
Full-Time | Permanent | 39 hrs/week + Overtime (x1.5)
The Role:
An established precision engineering company is seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to join their team. The role involves setting and operating cylindrical CNC grinding machines for aerospace, defence, and commercial components. Programming experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate cylindrical CNC grinders
- Work to tight tolerances for high-spec industries
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Programming experience (advantageous)
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years in CNC grinding
- Familiarity with Studer and Jones & Shipman machines
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour day shifts
- Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)
