We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a busy and growing engineering team in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled MIG / TIG Welder Fabricator looking for long-term stability, varied project work, and the chance to work within a professional and supportive engineering environment.

This role will suit someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can confidently work from technical drawings, and enjoys both fabrication and site-based engineering work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components
  • Fabricate brackets, frames, supports and containment systems from engineering drawings
  • Assist with installation, modification and maintenance of mechanical systems
  • Produce high-quality fabrication work with strong attention to detail
  • Work from technical drawings and specifications to complete fabrication tasks
  • Follow site health and safety procedures including RAMS and permit-to-work systems
  • Inspect completed work to ensure high engineering standards are met
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and project teams to deliver work on schedule
What You Must Have
  • Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder / Welder Fabricator
  • Strong MIG and TIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel fabrication
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes and installation work
  • Good health and safety awareness in engineering environments
  • Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Welding or Fabrication
  • CSCS or ECS Card
  • IPAF / MEWP certification
  • Experience working within industrial or engineering project environments
