My client is a well-established bathroom and tile showroom in Knutsford operating since 2006 with an excellent client base, selling mid to high end brands. Due to growth, they have an opportunity for a Warehouse Driver to join their team on a part-time basis. This role involves a lot of hands-on work and will suit someone who's physically active and enjoys being on their feet throughout the day and delivering goods.
Main tasks include:
- Unloading and booking in goods delivered to our warehouse
- Picking and preparing goods for dispatch
- Organising stock in the warehouse
- Keeping work areas tidy and safe/helping maintain an organised warehouse
- Load customers’ orders into vehicles
- Delivering goods (transit van) - Full clean driving license essential
Training on the warehouse software will be provided.
Experience required:
- 3 years’ warehouse experience
- Comfortable using warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Manual Handling (essential)
- Operate warehouse equipment. Fork lift truck experience essential
- Basic computer literacy (warehouse booking in/out system)
- Full clean driving licence (for use of transit van)
Job Type: Part time (2 - 3 days) days negotiable.
