About the Role
We are seeking two Electrical Design Engineers to join a successful and expanding manufacturer of power and control panel systems. This site-based role is ideal for engineers who enjoy converting customer electrical schematics into accurate, efficient, and manufacturable designs. You will focus on design for manufacture, producing clear and precise CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and simplifying the build and assembly process for the production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce manufacturing and assembly drawings based on customer electrical schematics.
- Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production.
- Apply design for manufacture (DfM) principles to improve build efficiency and reduce complexity.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are practical and easy to assemble.
- Collaborate with project managers and customers to clarify technical requirements.
- Support ongoing product improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in electrical design for control panels, power panels, or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD).
