Technical Compliance and Safety Manager Commercial Building Services Industry Stevenage, Hertfordshire 50,000 – 55,000 + Package 35 hour working week.
Due to expansion of the projects team, we are currently seeking a Technical Compliance / Technical Assurance and Safety Manager to join a UK wide Commercial Building Services provider. This is a site based role in Stevenage with flexability for hybrid working.
Duties:
- To provide professional technical and associated safety assurance management, working with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver technical compliance and effective Safe System of Work (SSoW) in support of Engineering Excellence.
- Provide technical policy and process support and manage technical systems and databases associated with competency management, Corrective Action reporting and analysis and associated risk reporting.
- Support audit teams on technical compliance issues and provide site SSoW support as required.
- Responsible for providing professional technical assurance support and related safety delivery activity against the People, Policy and Process pillars of Engineering Excellence, including:
- Competency Management System (CMS) delivery, development & management.
- Audit and assurance planning/scheduling and delivery.
- Create, develop, deliver and refine technical files, logbooks, policy and training documents and other documentation as required.
- Manage and co-ordinate annual technical documentation reviews ensuring all documentation complies with established templates, formats and writing standards.
Package: What is in it for you?
- Attractive basic salary: 50,000 – 55,000

Requirements:
- Must be technically qualified. City and Guilds Level 3 essential, HND desirable.
- Must hold or be willing to undertake NESBOSH qualification.
- Hold or working towards professional technical registration, i.e. IEng or above with IET, CIBSE etc.
- Experience within M&E / MEP Maintenance and Projects industries is highly preferable.
- Understanding of general safety and technical compliance standards.
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of aspects of safety and risk management, including current safety issues legislation and ISO standards.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems with a high degree of procedural, technical and HSE compliance.
- Able to be flexible with UK wide travel as and when needed.
