We are actively recruiting for FM / Building Services, Shift Maintenance Engineers to join our building services maintenance team at a state of the art, newly built datacentre environment, located in Longcross, Surrey.

The Shift Maintenance Engineer must be either electrically or mechanically qualified, with a background within building services maintenance. You will be performing planned (PPMs) and reactive maintenance duties across the building services assets / plant equipment within the datacentre facility. This may include testing, 1st line faults, fault finding and repairs to wiring, sockets, circuits, transformers, UPS, HV switching schedules, induction motors, pumps, valves, AHUs, FCUs, pressurisation units, CRAC units etc (dependant on your trade discipline).

Employment Package:

  • Role: Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer OR Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer.
  • Location: Longcross, Surrey (static site)
  • Environment: Critical Datacentre
  • Hours: 4 on, 4 off - days and nights.
  • Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 + £1.5 Bonus
  • AP site allowances: £3,000 (HVAP, LVAP, MPS AP etc).
  • 25 days holiday pro rata to shift pattern.
  • Company funded courses, training and up-skilling.
  • Progression opportunities UK wide within an industry leading employer.

Requirements:

  • Must hold electrical or mechanical qualifications (city and guilds / NVQ or equivalent).
  • Must hold experience within building services maintenance within a commercial or critical environment.
  • Experience with critical systems such as UPS, High Voltage Transformers, High Voltage Switching or CRAC units is highly beneficial but not essential.
  • HVAP status is highly preferable but not essential for Electrical Engineers.
