We are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician to carry out electrical planned and reactive maintenance duties and minor installation works within the Central and Greater London regions.

As the Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical fault finding, wiring, cabling, fuse boxes, sockets, circuits, floor boxes, power distribution, temporary power supplies, lamps, ballasts, emergency lighting, decorative lighting, security lighting, lighting upgrades (LED), transformers, induction motors, installing electrical accessories, power supplies & electrical components within HVAC / Building Services equipment etc.

Employment Package:

  • Status: PAYE, Permanent - Weekly Pay Schedule.
  • Base Salary: £42,000 - £45,000
  • Estimated Earnings / OTE: £50,000 - £60,000
  • Paid overtime available: x1.5 rate until midnight / x2 rate overnight or all day Sundays.
  • Call out rota: 1 in 4 weeks. £80 per call out + paid overtime after first hour on-site.
  • Provided: company van, fuel card, pension, uniform, phone, specialist tools etc.
  • Industry: Building Services / FM
  • Environments: Commercial - restaurants, pubs, retail stores, gyms, coffee shops etc.
  • Hours: 08:30am - 5:30pm (contracted site based). Usual day will involve leaving home circa 7:30-8am and leaving your last job circa 4:30-5pm.
  • Travel time pay: Paid D2D minus 30 minutes each way. No deduction for lunch break.
  • Location: Central London, Greater London and border of home counties (50 mile or 90 minute maximum radius from where you live).

Requirements:

  • Must be a fully qualified Electrician, ie: City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 / City & Guilds 2360 Part 2 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Must have up to date regulations: 18th edition.
  • Must have experience working within commercial environments or with commercial electrical systems, ie: emergency / communal lighting.
  • Must have a UK driving license with 9 points or under.
