We are currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer to work on a mobile basis carrying out servicing and breakdown works to refrigeration equipment within commercial environments such as retail stores, supermarkets, coffee shops etc.
As the Refrigeration Engineer, you will carry out servicing and repair works to equipment such as:
- Display fridges / multi decks
- Serve-over counters
- Walk-in cold rooms & freezers
- Upright fridges & freezers (back-of-house storage)
- Bottle coolers / under counter fridges
- Compressor packs / rack systems
- Fan coil units
- Expansion valves (TXVs / EEVs)
- Ice machines
- Cellar cooling systems
You may also carry out light Air Conditioning works such as splits / multi splits, VRV/VRF and Cassette units.
Employment Package:
- Status: Permanent, PAYE - Paid Weekly
- Company van and fuel card provided
- Location/Patch: Mobile - Central London, Greater London, Home Counties - maximum 90 minute radius from home
- Basic Salary: £45-50K per annum
- Expected Earnings: £55-65K per annum
- Travel time: paid door to door minus 60 minutes per day (30 minutes to and from work, lunch break fully paid)
- Hours: Contracted Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 5:30pm. Standard day will involve leaving home circa 07:30-8am and leaving last job circa 4:30pm
- Call out: 1 in 4 weeks. £80 per call out + paid overtime after 3 hours including travelling time
- Overtime: x1.5 rate until midnight. x2 rate overnight or all day Sunday
- 29 days paid annual leave including bank holidays

- Company funded courses, training and up-skilling
Requirements:
- Must be an experienced Refrigeration Engineer with experience working in commercial environments / with commercial refrigeration equipment
- Must hold F Gas certification
- Must have a UK driving license with 9 points or less
