Due to increased contract demand, we are currently recruiting for a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a hands on basis and over-see site compliance of 5 commercial offices buildings located between Nottingham, Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester & Cambridge.
This is a self managed role between the sites, meaning all of these locations do not need to be visited on a weekly basis. You will self manage your workload, ensuring all PPMs are completed in-time with schedules, reactive maintenance duties are attended in a timely manor and all on-site compliance (remedial reports, log books etc) are kept up to date and accurate.
Package:
* Role: Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer
* Employer: Leading UK Service Provider.
* Environment: Commercial / Corporate Office Spaces.
* Locations: Nottingham, Birmingham, Cambridge (5 sites).
* Base Salary: £40,000
* Additional salary allowances of £1,200 per AP status gained, ie: LVAP, Mechanical Pressure Systems AP etc.
* Provided: Company Van, Fuel Card, Uniform, Phone etc.
* Status: Permanent, PAYE role
* Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00am – 5:00pm (flexible when travelling long distances).
* Paid overtime available.
* Self managed across the sites, ensuring sites are kept up to date with PPMs & Compliance schedules and reactive jobs are attended in a timely manor.
* Call out rota: 1 in 4 weeks, £100 per week standby allowance + minimum of 4 hours pay if called out.

* Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (total 33 days).
Duties:
Duties as a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer may include the following:
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) – Emergency light testing, fire alarm tests, tap temperatures, filter cleans within HVAC equipment etc.
* Reactive Maintenance – Lamps, ballasts, decorative/safety/security lighting systems, electrical fault finding, transformers, wiring, sockets, circuits, power supplies and electrical components within building services equipment (HVAC, fire, security etc), 1st line faults to HVAC equipment, ie: coil cleans, filter cleans, filter changes etc.
* BMS monitoring
* Providing detailed remedial reports on works.
* Updating log books / on-site compliance paperwork.
* Liaising with other engineers, management, sub-contractors and the client via telephone, email and face to face.
Requirements:
We expect Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer candidiates to meet the following profile:
* Must be qualified to Part 2 / Level 3 standard or equivalent, ie: City and Guilds 2360 Part 2 / City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3.
* Must have or be willing to do updated regulations; City and Guilds 18th edition.
* Must have experience within a commercial maintenance role.
* Ideally have experience in a lead / supervisory role previously where you have been exposed to Remedial reports, log books, site compliance within a commercial setting, permits, RAMS, sub-contractor supervision etc.
* Must have a driving license with under 9 points.
