FM Service Manager

Service Manager | Commercial Maintenance / FM Industry | Building Fabric OR Electrical background | £40-45K dependant on experience + company vehicle & package | West Midlands.

Due to increased contract demands, we are actively recruiting for a Service Manager from either an Electrical or Building Fabric backgrounds.

The employer are a hard services MEP & FM provider working across a wide range of commercial environments, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive maintenance and compliance works.

As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for over-seeing either an Electrical or Building Fabric Maintenance team, ensuring works are completed to a high standard and detailed remedial reports are completed.

Your role will involve:

* Technical support / assistance to maintenance engineers.

* Working closely with the helpdesk / scheduling team over-seeing engineers diaries.

* Ensuring engineers are leaving detailed remedial reports from works completed.

* Ensuring works are completed to a high standard.

* Liaising with clients to provide updates on works, discuss complaints / re-calls, gain access to sites etc.

Employment Package: FM Service Manager:

* Base Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

* Status: Permanent, PAYE

* Location: Offices based in Telford, you will be working on a hybrid basis between Head Office, Sites and Home.

* On-call rota: You will be part of an on-call rota for escalations but will not be travelling on a hands on capacity. Call out rota 1 in 4 and comes with additional pay.

* Company van & fuel card provided.

* 28 days paid annual leave including bank holidays.

* Paid overtime / OOH available.

Requirements: FM Service Manager:

* Must hold a qualification in a relevant trade discipline, ie: Electrical or building fabric trade ie; carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating etc.

* Must hold experience working within the commercial FM / maintenance industry.

* Experience in a similar role, ie: FM Service Manager, FM Supervisor, FM Operations Manager, FM Technical Manager etc.

* Must hold a driving license with under 9 points.
