Fire and Security Lead Engineer

Fire and Security Lead Engineer | London / South East | £50-60k per annum | Commercial Environments | Company van, fuel card, paid overtime, 33 days annual leave etc. Due to expansion in Fire and Security contracts, we are actively seeking a Lead Engineer to work in our Fire and Security division. As the Lead Fire and Security Engineer, you will be working on a mobile basis across London and South East regions of the UK. Your role will be over-seeing servicing, fault finding and repair works across fire and security systems, as the Lead Engineer, you will be working on a hands on basis, alongside over-seeing another Fire and Security Engineer, assisting from a technical standpoint. You will be working within commercial environments, working across systems such as Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguishers, CCTV, Access Controls, Door Entry Systems etc. Package: Lead Fire and Security Engineer * Base Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 dependant on experience / qualifications. * Location: Mobile role – working across London and South East England regions. * Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 5:00pm * Reporting: Self managed position, reporting into Director of the business. * Staff Management: Over-seeing 1 fire and security engineer with technical assistance. * Paid Overtime available. * Initially no call out rota, this could vary dependant on contract requirements / staff availability. * Hands on position with some hands off / paperwork responsibilities. * Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays (total 33 days paid). * Company pension, laptop phone, uniform etc. * Environments: Commercial – predominately office space. * Company funded training courses. * Progression opportunities into hands off supervisory / management opportunities. Requirements: * Must hold relevant experience within a Fire and Security servicing position, working with commercial systems such as CCTV, access controls, door entry systems, fire alarms, fire extinguishers and other fire and security related systems. * Must hold relevant fire and security qualifications. * Must hold a full UK driving license with under 9 points.
