We are actively recruiting for a Building Fabric Projects Engineer to carry out planned and quoted fabric project works across commercial environments throughout London and the South East region.
As a Building Fabric Projects Engineer you will be delivering a variety of fabric project works including fire door / door installations/replacements, flooring, drylining, suspended ceilings, tiling, joinery, partitioning and associated building fabric works. Environments you will be working in include retail stores, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, gyms and similar commercial properties.
Employment Package/Summary:
- Status: Permanent, PAYE – Paid Weekly
- Base Salary: £45,000
- Estimated annual earnings: £55,000 – £65,000
- Provided: Van, fuel card, uniform, phone, tools, 29 days paid annual leave
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 hour working day, 08:00am – 5:00pm
- Overtime: x1.5 rate until midnight, x2 rate overnight
- Call out rota: No call out
- Location/s: London and South East England
- Works: Planned and quoted fabric project works
- Industry: Building Services / Commercial FM
- Equipment/Works: fire door / door installations/replacements, flooring, drylining, suspended ceilings, tiling, joinery, partitioning and associated building fabric works.
Requirements:
- Must hold a relevant trade qualification in a building fabric discipline (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Must hold proven experience delivering building fabric works within commercial environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage small to medium fabric projects from start to finish.
- Must hold a UK driving licence with 9 points or under.
