Commercial Gas Engineer

Commercial Gas Engineer | South London | £50,000- £55,000 | OTE: £60-65K | Travel time package | Van with Personal Use | On-call only 3 weeks per year | Permanent, PAYE role. Due to increased demand and expanding contracts, we are actively recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to work in/around Greater London and surrounding areas, ie: South London, Central London, Surrey, parts of Sussex. Carrying out servicing, reactive maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), remedial and testing works within commercial building environments. Bullet Pointed Summary: * Role: Commercial Gas Engineer * Location: South London & Surrounding areas (Up to maximum of 50 mile radius of home address). * Full time, permanent role (PAYE), paid weekly. * Environments: Pubs, Restaurants, Care Homes, Nurseries, Libaries etc. * Workload: Servicing, Breakdowns, Reactive Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Installations & Replacements. * Hours: 08:00am – 5:00pm (option to finish at 4:00pm if lunch break is not taken). * D2D travel time to and from work paid after 30 mins each way. * Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + Travel time package (dependant on qualifications / experience). * Average yearly earnings: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum. * Call out: 1 in 16 weeks. (3 weeks per year): £125 p/w standby allowance + D2D pay if called out. * Company van, fuel card, uniform, phone provided. * Van use: Personal use accepted. * 28 days paid holiday (inc BH) + pension. Workload: * Domestic and Commercial Boilers: Servicing, Landlord certificates, attending breakdowns, fault finding, component replacement, pipework to boiler, upgrades and replacements. * S-Plan & Y-Plan heating controls. * Hot and Cold water supplies / Hot and cold storage. * Vented and Unvented cylinders. * Water Heaters * Thermostats * Plumbing related duties. Requirements: * Must be a fully qualified Commercial Gas Engineer, ie: ACS: COCN1 or CODNCO1. * City & Guilds in Plumbing. * UK driving license with under 9 points required. * Experience working independantly on both domestic and commercial boilers carrying out servicing and breakdowns.
