Due to an increase in Electrical Installation Projects, we are currently recruiting for Commercial Electricians to work on a mobile basis in and around the Cambridge region. You will be based on various projects spending anywhere from 1 day to multiple weeks per site. This will involve Electrical Installations, upgrades or replacements within commercial environments / with commercial electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Wiring, re-wiring, cabling, power distribution, temporary power supplies, lamps, ballasts, LED upgrades, containment, trunking, trays, transformers, power supplies to fire, security and building services equipment, testing and inspections etc.

Package:

  • Base Salary: £45,000
  • Estimated annual earnings: £50-55K per annum.
  • Contracted Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00am-5:00pm - realistic site hours; 08:00am-3:00pm.
  • Locations: Large Commercial Sites around Cambridge and surrounding areas.
  • Provided: Company Van, Fuel Card, Phone, Uniform etc.
  • Remaining Package: Private healthcare plan, 33 days paid annual leave including bank holidays (25+8), Pension, Discounted Gym Memberships and a wide range of other internal benefits.
  • Paid overtime available.
  • Call out rota: NO call out.
  • Works: Installations, upgrades and quoted project works within commercial environments.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar Commercial Electrician role / Electrician with experience working in commercial environments / with commercial electrical systems.
  • Must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 / C&G 2330 Level 3 / C&G Part 2 2360 standard or equivalent.
  • Must have up to date regulations: 18th edition.
  • Must have 2391 testing and inspection certificate.
  • Must have a UK driving license with under 9 points.
  • Must be willing to go through and be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
