The predicted salary is between 43500 - 43500 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Gas Engineer to work on a mobile basis within Chester and surrounding areas. As the Gas Engineer, you will be attending a wide range of commercial properties, carrying out servicing, breakdown and repair works across boilers and gas fired heating systems.

Employment Package:

  • Status: Permanent, PAYE
  • Base Salary: £44,000
  • Expected Earnings: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
  • Location: Chester & Surrounding Regions (up to maximum of 90 minute radius)
  • Hours: 9 hour working day, e.g. 07:00am-4:00pm / 08:00am-5:00pm etc. Standard day will be arriving to site for 08:00am and depending on travel, leaving your last job between 3-5pm.
  • Additional travel time paid after 30 minutes each way.
  • Call out rota: 1 in 6 weeks. £100 standby allowance + minimum of 4 hours pay if called out.
  • Holidays: 34 days: 26 + bank holidays
  • Van (business use only), fuel card, pension (up to 8% match scheme) and other company specific benefits.
  • Works: Servicing and breakdowns, e.g. boiler servicing, fault finding, component replacements, vented and unvented systems, thermostats, radiators, water heaters, associated pipework, minor plumbing duties.
  • Environments: Commercial - retail stores and offices

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified Gas Engineer with current ACS certificates.
  • Commercial ACS is preferred, e.g. COCN1 or CODNCO1
  • Must be comfortable working independently on servicing and breakdown works.
