We are currently recruiting for M&E Shift Engineer (Mechanical Shift Engineer / Electrical Shift Engineer) to carry out planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance duties across a highly critical datacentre environment based in Canary Wharf / Docklands, East London. As the M&E Shift Engineer, you will be working as part of a large, multi-skilled team.
Employment Package:
- Status: Permanent, PAYE
- Salary: £53,000 - £58,000
- £2,000 annual bonus + £3,000 HVAP allowance
- Hours: Continental Shift Pattern: 3 days / 3 nights / 4 off / 4 days / 6 off / 4 nights / 4 off
- Paid overtime available
- Full company employment benefits including paid holidays, private medical, private dental etc.
Requirements:
- Must hold an electrical or mechanical based qualification, ie: City and Guilds Electrical Installation Level 2 / City and Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 / City and Guilds 18th edition / NVQ Level 3 (2357) / City and Guilds Plumbing Level 2/3 / City and Guilds Air Conditioning Level 2 / F-Gas ... or equivalent / similar.
- Experience working in a maintenance position within commercial environments is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience working in a maintenance position within critical environments (datacentre, banking, hospitals, defence environments etc) or critical systems (UPS, high voltage switching, CRAC units) is highly advantageous but not essential.
