Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Transport Planner, based in Godalming, Surrey with the flexibility for remote work. The role involves leading transport planning projects, preparing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and feasibility studies, and conducting transport modeling. A Senior Transport Planner will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient infrastructure solutions. Oversight of project deliverables and participation in meetings, presentations, and stakeholder engagement is required to support the successful implementation of development schemes.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Transportation Planning and Transport Modelling
- Excellent Communication skills and ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead and deliver multiple projects concurrently
- Proficiency in relevant design or modeling software (such as AutoCAD or similar tools) is advantageous
- Understanding of local highway design standards and transport policies
- Degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or a related discipline
- Working towards Chartered status (e.g. CILT, CIHT, or ICE) is desirable
