Our Infrastructure Team

Specialising in drainage, highways, and plot design, our expanding infrastructure team works alongside our transport planning specialists to offer clients a fully integrated service. We are committed to giving infrastructure design the attention and creativity it deserves, ensuring our work remains at the forefront of engineering practice.

The Role

We’re looking for a Civil Engineer with 1–3 years’ experience who is enthusiastic about developing their skills and making a real impact on exciting, varied projects. You’ll work alongside and be mentored by experienced Principal Engineers, gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility studies through to detailed design and construction on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, from concept to completion.
  • Carry out feasibility studies and options appraisals, helping to shape project direction from the outset.
  • Prepare clear, professional reports to support planning applications and technical submissions.
  • Produce and manage high quality CAD drawings.
  • Draft technical specifications and design documentation.
  • Work closely with clients, giving you early exposure and responsibility to client facing roles.
  • Collaborate with senior staff, gaining guidance and mentorship while ensuring company and client goals are met.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in one or more technical areas, including drainage, highways, earthworks, and/or utilities coordination.
  • Experience with Civil 3D, Causeway Flow/ Micro-drainage (Advantageous).
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team or on large scale projects.
  • BEng/MEng (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • A strong desire to progress towards professional registration (e.g., ICE).
