HOURS: 8 hours paid per day
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join a busy warehouse in Ashford, Kent for a 1-week assignment, starting Monday 17th August.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries from lorries and containers.
- Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Stacking, storing, and retrieving goods from designated locations.
- Carrying out daily pre-use equipment checks and reporting any defects.
- Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties when required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Following all warehouse procedures and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
- Valid CSCS Card (essential).
- Full PPE, including safety boots and high-visibility clothing.
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Two recent, checkable work references.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe working practices.
