The Opportunity
This is a great chance for an ambitious Tax professional to join a fast-moving, forward-thinking Tax team and take the next step in their career. The work is varied and client-facing, with plenty of scope to grow and take on more responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working closely with Partners on a portfolio of larger, more complex compliance clients
- Delivering tax advisory work to business owners, covering tax planning, business and property acquisitions/disposals, inheritance tax and estate planning
- Handling HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research
- Acting as a technical point of contact for a wider network of smaller accountancy practices, via phone and email
- Overseeing delivery of the tax return programme
- Supporting the training, development and management of junior team members
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and be a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships. You should:
- Be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified, with ideally at least 3 years' PQE in tax practice
- Have solid experience advising owner-managed businesses across corporation tax, income tax and capital gains tax
- Bring a proactive, hands-on attitude to tasks of any size or complexity
- Be confident working as part of a wider team to deliver great outcomes
