We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven HR Business Partner & Operational Lead to join our growing team. This is a pivotal role where you will combine strategic HR leadership with hands‑on delivery, partnering closely with operational leaders to drive high‑quality, compliant, and people‑focused services. You will play a key role in shaping workforce strategy, influencing leadership capability, and ensuring our people practices support safe, effective, and values‑led care delivery.

The Role:
- Partner with operational leaders to develop and deliver people plans aligned to business objectives
- Provide expert advice on workforce planning, organisational design, and performance improvement
- Coach leaders to build capability, drive engagement, and improve outcomes
- Lead and support organisational change programmes (e.g. restructures, TUPE, mobilisation)
Employee Relations & Risk Management:
- Provide expert guidance on employment law, policies, and complex casework
- Lead and oversee employee relations activity, ensuring consistent and compliant practice
- Identify trends and proactively implement interventions to reduce risk
Recruitment & Workforce Delivery:
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding activity
- Support workforce planning aligned to service demand and growth
Operational HR Leadership:
- Oversee HR operations including onboarding, HRIS accuracy, and case tracking
- Drive process improvement and ensure delivery against SLAs
- Act as the key link between HR and operations
Data & Insights:
- Provide insight‑led recommendations to leaders
Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
- Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role
- Experience working in fast‑paced, operational environments
- Strong background in employer relations and organisational change
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Ability to translate business strategy into practical people plans
- Strong analytical and data interpretation capability
- Confident in coaching leaders and driving performance
Qualifications and Other Requirements:
- Degree in HR, business, or related field – desirable
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to obtain a DBS (Standard or Enhanced)
