Being a Technician for Winchester Motor Company is a fast-paced and exciting role! Here you will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business for the dealership.

Representing a leading Automotive group and working alongside an award-winning business team, an excellent remuneration package is offered for the right experienced candidate. We are looking for a Level 3 qualified technician with hands-on experience to join our team! We are a multi-brand service centre, hosting Skoda, SEAT, Cupra & Volkswagen vehicles. Although not essential, MOT testing experience would be advantageous. Pay grading is subject to experience & qualifications.

Working with the manufacturer can vary compared to an independent garage; we work closely with the manufacturer to ensure the quality of our products and services. On a day-to-day basis, this can involve contact with Technical Support through online forms, reporting issues/faults with cars through our integrated systems, and following workshop manuals precisely on every repair. A good level of IT skills is required to complete these steps successfully.

We have state-of-the-art diagnostic machines that are an integral part of our diagnosis process, with the systems generating test plans that need to be followed to gain warranty approval. We also use camera systems to report faults to customers and document warranty issues. Detailed technical write-ups are key to getting faults rectified, these are completed electronically rather than pen and paper. In the near future, we will be moving over to a completely paperless system.
