Shifts Available: 01: Saturday long day (07:00–22:00) + Sunday mornings + additional annual leave cover

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Support Workers to join our Specialist Care team in Winchester. In this rewarding role, you will provide person‑centred care to young adults with complex needs, supporting them to lead independent, fulfilling, and meaningful lives. About the Role

As a Specialist Care Support Worker, you will support individuals with their social, emotional, and physical wellbeing, promoting independence and inclusion in line with SCA Care’s values. No two days are the same – your role will include:

  • Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Assisting with cooking, cleaning, and household duties
  • Supporting attendance at appointments and community activities
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting hobbies and interests (e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, music, gaming, dancing)
  • Working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex care needs
  • Using positive behaviour support and de‑escalation techniques
  • Working in environments where pets (including dogs) may be present
About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in supporting individuals with complex needs
  • Calm, resilient, and confident in challenging situations
  • Passionate about person‑centred care
  • Supportive of independence and personal development
  • Willing to learn and develop professionally
  • Comfortable working in homes with pets
  • A full UK driving licence holder (essential)
