We are Sosandar. Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, we’re one of the UK’s fastest growing online fashion brands for chic and stylish women; worn by celebs and influencers galore. We have an amazing opportunity for someone equally as amazing to join our growing team as a Trainee Merchandiser.

This is what you'll do:

  • The trainee merchandiser works in support of the merchandising and buying team to manage individual product categories through effective management of all associated admin tasks, including accurate raising of POs and intake management.
  • Works with buying team to ensure orders have been raised correctly and on time, flagging any discrepancies to the merchandiser.
  • Manages critical path alongside buying, checking for and highlighting any risks and delays to intake to the merchandiser and suggesting appropriate actions.
  • Ensures stock can get online as quickly as possible by working with the warehouse to respond to any issues.
  • Regularly reviews the website, ensuring product is on site and shoppable with full size availability.
  • Analysing best and worst selling styles and proposing the necessary actions to the merchandiser.
  • Carrying out adhoc analysis in Excel as requested by merchandiser as well as updating reports on a regular basis.
  • Competency in Excel is an advantage, but training provided.
  • Communicates regularly with key stakeholders to build effective relationships, providing all internal and external contacts with prompt, accurate and positive response to queries and requests.
  • Is enthusiastic, positive and demonstrates a readiness towards problem solving and overcoming obstacles.
  • Has awareness and understanding of competitors.
  • The trainee merchandiser reports into a junior merchandiser/merchandiser/senior merchandiser.
