We are Sosandar. Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, we’re one of the UK’s fastest growing online fashion brands for chic and stylish women; worn by celebrities and influencers galore. As Product Selector, you will work with your Buying Manager, supporting a variety of tasks from range selection of the main line, partner communication, VM packs, departmental admin and the wider team. You have the opportunity to be involved in trade, emerging trend meetings and weekly buy sign‑offs. Your role is to ensure the department runs smoothly with tasks completed to deadlines so the team can optimally deliver the product range. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure fashion environment, have a strong eye for detail, learn about the Sosandar customer who is at the heart of what we do, take pride in accuracy, and have a large capacity for learning and problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Range building / selecting with the category teams – adding into the RP, planning launch months/phasing (considering own site phasing) and number of weeks on sale
  • Working with merch to plan ROS/planned stores
  • Discuss season planning & strategy alongside merch with directors
  • Visual pack of selection to sign off & discuss any changes/phasing with buying director
  • Trade review, product learnings (weekly/monthly) alongside merch + deep dive into season/location patterns ahead of season strategy
  • Mannequin planning (bi‑weekly) and sharing out with stores – follow up on any queries
  • QC escalation from either store or head office side & store follow up, any actions that need rolling out
  • Store visits – VM, training, general store standards, touch bases
  • Store screens – loading the solutions shared from marketing into the platform per store/screen size: planning & logging the solutions into the schedule; supporting with any technical issues that arise
  • Marketing team – monthly product list to support their planning for in‑store videos, image swing tags
  • POS plan shared monthly off back of VM packs
  • Manage concession and wholesale relationships

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience of working in a buying function.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively with external partners, management team and peers.
  • The ability to build rapport and relationships with partners and colleagues.
  • Strong team player – work towards the brand goals with a solution‑focused positive mindset.
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Critical path workflow/range plan and management skills.
  • Strong Excel skills – pivot tables and formulas are ideal skills.
