Join the team at Daish’s Holidays as our new Maintenance Operative! If you want career progression or stable all year-round employment, then Daish’s is the perfect fit for you. We offer a fun and inclusive working environment at up to £13.65 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. If you refer a friend to work for us, you'll split £100! Hours include weekends and bank holidays, from 9am to 5pm and 10am to 6pm on arrival days.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ensuring that all external areas such as car parks, paths, and roadways are kept clean, tidy, and well maintained.
  • Inspecting the hotel rooms to ensure they don’t require any maintenance work.
  • Ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out in line with the Health & Safety policy to maintain the safety of all team members, guests, and owners at all times.
  • Ensuring the good working order of all equipment and planning, preparing, and implementing a maintenance schedule to keep everything in good working order and serviced in line with the Health & Safety policy.
  • General carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing tasks will be a daily occurrence.
  • Carrying out periodic health and safety checks, including those relating to fire safety, risk assessments, and legionella testing.
  • Experience of working in a maintenance environment; handy trades like carpentry, joinery, plumbing, or electrics.
  • Experience within painting and decorating.
  • Ideally hold a qualification in a relevant trade.
