Reporting to:Warehouse ManagerLocation:Peckham Warehouse (with occasional work at stores or installation sites)

Job Purpose

As aWarehouse & Logistics Operative atTheNunhead Gardener, you’ll play a key role in keeping our stores andcustomers supplied with products. From unloading and pricing deliveries topreparing replenishment orders, delivering stock to stores, and assisting withinstallations, this is a varied and physical role. You’ll work closely with ourstore teams and play an essential part in the smooth running of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive deliveries of indoor pots, tools, homeware, andgarden accessories.

- Open, check, and price high volumes of stock.

- Consolidate and organise stock in our small warehouse tomaximise space.

- Pick and prepare weekly store replenishment orders for ourfour stores.

- Ensure accuracy and efficiency when packing stock fordelivery.

Deliveries & Driving

- Drive the company van to deliver stock to stores.

- Occasionally deliver orders directly to customers,including Christmas trees during peak season.

- Safely load and unload goods, ensuring they arrive in goodcondition.

Support for Installations & Events

- Assist with plant installation jobs, helping carry pots,plants, and compost to site.

- Support the team during seasonal busy periods, especiallyChristmas.

Systems & Communication

- Learn and use the company’s stock management system.

- Communicate effectively with store teams to ensure smoothsupply.

Skills & Requirements

- Full, clean UK driving licence (essential). - Physically fit and comfortable with lifting, moving, andhandling stock. - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. - Good communication skills; a team player with a flexibleattitude. - Experience in warehouse, logistics, or stock handling(preferred but not essential). - Interest in plants, gardening, or landscaping (a bonus, buttraining provided).
