We are seeking a motivated Housekeeper to join our team at Walton Court, a premier Build-to-Rent (BTR) property located in Walton-on-Thames. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in the growing BTR industry, working for a company that is expanding its footprint in the UK.
The successful candidate will support the onsite team and assist with the day-to-day operations of the company’s portfolio in Bristol with a key focus on delivering excellent customer service to residents throughout all aspects of the tenancy lifecycle.
About the role
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure all common areas, including a Gym, Yoga studio, co-working space, resident lounge, terraces, office, reception, kitchen, and corridors, are consistently clean, tidy, and presentable.
- Apartment Cleaning: Manage end-of-tenancy/pre-move-in apartment cleaning and respond to reactive cleaning needs.
- Bin Management: Keep bins and bin areas clean in collaboration with the maintenance team.
- Safety Compliance: Work in accordance with risk assessments and safety data sheets, adhering strictly to health and safety rules.
- Communication: Notify superiors of any damages, deficits, and disturbances, and handle complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Team player: Work as part of a team to ensure that the property and apartments are maintained at a high standard.
The Ideal candidate:
- Experience: Working as part of a housekeeping team to ensure high standards.
- Work ethic: Self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision, maintaining high performance standards, and motivating others to achieve similar excellence.
- Customer Service: Understand the importance of delivering high standards of customer service due to regular interactions with residents.
- Attention to Detail: High importance placed on detail orientation for supervising team and own work.
- Prioritisation and time management skills: Essential skills to ensure high-quality work is completed in a timely manner.
- Language skills: Proficient in English.
Job Sector: This job would ideally suit candidates from the hotel/hospitality industry.
Working Hours: 5 day working week including weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) with 2 days off working on a rota basis. 40 hour working week working on a rota basis. This role includes daytime shift work (between 07:00 - 23:00).
Bonus: Discretionary Bonus Scheme.
