If so, we'd love you to join our Christmas Team at Tong Garden Centre!

This year, we're looking for enthusiastic, energetic and friendly people to help deliver an unforgettable Christmas experience for the thousands of families who visit us throughout the festive season.

Our Grotto is one of the highlights of Christmas at Tong, and we're searching for team members who are ready to bring the magic to life. These are busy, fast-paced roles where you'll spend your days creating smiles, making memories, and helping the Christmas experience run smoothly from start to finish.

What could your Christmas role look like?

Be the first friendly face our visitors see when they arrive.

• Welcome families to the Grotto experience
• Scan tickets and help guests find their way
• Keep queues organised and sessions running smoothly
• Answer questions and help create a magical first impression

Bring the festive spirit to life throughout the Grotto experience.

• Guide families through their Christmas journey
• Chat with excited children and help build anticipation for meeting Santa
• Support Santa and fellow Elves throughout the day
• Help create special moments that families will remember for years to come

Help children choose the perfect festive surprise.

• Support families as they browse the Toy Shop
• Keep displays looking magical and well stocked
• Deliver excellent customer service with a smile
• Share in the excitement as children choose their Christmas gift

Breakfast with Santa Elf

Be part of one of our most popular festive experiences, where breakfast comes with a side of Christmas magic!

• Welcome families and help create a fun, memorable experience from the moment they arrive
• Support with serving, clearing tables and keeping the event running smoothly
• Bring the festive atmosphere to life by interacting with children and their families
• Confidently lead and join in with Christmas songs, helping encourage guests to sing along and get into the festive spirit
• Work closely with Santa and fellow Elves to create a truly magical start to the day

You'll be the face of our VR attraction, helping guests have a fantastic experience from start to finish. You'll confidently manage customer queues, process bookings and payments through the till, set up and monitor VR sessions, and provide friendly support to guests of all ages. You'll also be comfortable troubleshooting basic technical issues and thinking on your feet to resolve problems quickly if equipment or software isn't working as expected.
