The Role
This is a pivotal role at the heart of our project delivery operation. As Project Manager, you'll take full ownership of multiple concurrent infrastructure contracts β from handover through to completion β coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions on time and within budget.
You'll be the key liaison between our internal teams (manufacturing, production, installations), clients, and subcontractors β managing financials, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement across every stage of project execution. The role is office-based in Thatcham, with regular visits to project sites across the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and managing detailed project plans using MS Project or similar tools
- Overseeing multiple contracts end-to-end, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources across shared teams and concurrent contracts
- Managing budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasting throughout each contract
- Administering contracts through their full lifecycle β including notices, milestones, variations, change control, and dispute resolution
- Implementing risk management strategies and maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Leading clear communication with clients and internal teams, building strong working relationships
- Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring job sheets and production requirements are accurate
- Chairing and attending project and site meetings; conducting site surveys as required
- Continuously improving project management processes to drive efficiency and excellence
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years' experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary contracts in civils, groundworks, or infrastructure
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Financial management experience including budgeting and project financial oversight
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a client-focused approach
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- PRINCE2 or APM qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- NEC3/NEC4 experience
- CSCS Certification
What You'll Get

Working Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, generally 08:00β16:30 (core hours 06:00β18:00). Some additional hours and overnight stays may be required to fulfil project needs.
