We are a renowned multiservice law firm committed to access to justice. Our lawyers specialise in criminal defence, family law, housing, civil liberties and human rights. We are a Legal 500 and Chambers UK recommended firm who are currently recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join our Birmingham Office. This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 5.00pm.

The successful candidates will be part of a dynamic and growing hub serving all our offices and they will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients.

Requirements of the role:
  • Take inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered promptly and to meet set KPIs
  • Answer all inbound calls from prospective and existing clients in a professional manner
  • Screen telephone calls, taking relevant and accurate messages
  • Liaise with other departments
  • Report technical issues impacting service to the IT team
  • Assist the wider support teams and carry out general administrative duties when required

This is an office-based role.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Polite and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to cope with tight deadlines, prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Proven experience in an administration role
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and also as part of a wider team
