We are currently recruiting for a Void Finisher to join our team in Swindon.

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Void Finisher / Snagger to ensure newly completed properties are finished to a high standard prior to handover. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong practical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team to rectify defects and complete finishing tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out snagging works and finishing tasks on completed properties to ensure a high‑quality finish.
  • Identify and rectify defects, cosmetic issues, and minor repairs including plastering, painting, mastic work, and general finishing tasks.
  • Complete touch‑up work to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces as required.
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with company standards and customer expectations.
  • Work closely with site managers and other trades to resolve outstanding issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site procedures.
  • Report any major defects, safety concerns, or material shortages to the supervisors.
  • Carry out other duties as required to support the successful completion of properties.
You will need
  • Previous experience as a Void Finisher, Snagger, Multi‑Skilled Operative, or in a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
  • Experience in basic plastering, painting, decorating, mastic application, and minor repairs.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements within the construction industry.
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable.
  • CSCS card is advantageous but not essential.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work.
