Ready Health is a CQC-registered private clinic based in Standish, Wigan. Due to continued growth and increasing patient demand, we are looking for an experienced GP with a strong interest in Women’s Health to join our expanding clinical team.

The Role

The successful candidate will provide a mixture of women’s health and general private GP services including:

  • Women’s health consultations
  • Cervical smear testing
  • Contraception advice and management
  • Coil fittings and removals
  • Menopause and HRT consultations
  • Sexual health appointments
  • General private GP consultations

Requirements

  • GMC registered GP with active licence to practice
  • Confident managing women’s health consultations independently
  • Experience performing cervical smear tests and intimate examinations
  • Excellent communication and patient‑centred approach
  • Ability to work autonomously within a private clinic setting
  • Professional indemnity cover
  • Implant fitting/removal experience
  • Menopause and HRT management experience
  • Sexual health experience
  • Previous experience within private healthcare

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Thursday: 11:00am – 7:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Flexibility can be offered, including the option of one weekday off if preferred, resulting in approximately 32–40 hours per week depending on the agreed working pattern.

Pay

Competitive and negotiable depending on experience, availability and scope of services offered.

Due to patient preference and the sensitive nature of some consultations provided, applications from female clinicians may be considered in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
