Description

We are recruiting for a passionate and commercially driven Spa Manager to join a luxury spa overlooking the sea on Anglesey. This is an opportunity to drive our spa operation, work with a high-performing team and deliver exceptional experiences for guests.

The Role

As Spa Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day spa operation, ensuring exceptional standards across guest experience, treatments, team performance and commercial success.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing operational management with being visible and engaged with both the team and guests with hands-on delivery: approximately 25% of the role will involve providing treatments. You will be responsible for driving revenue, developing the team and ensuring the spa delivers outstanding service at every touchpoint.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, withworking days Wednesday through to Sunday

Key Responsibilities

Spa Operations & Leadership

  • Lead and inspire the spa team, creating a positive and engaging working environment.
  • Manage the daily operation of the spa, ensuring smooth delivery of treatments and guest services.
  • Oversee rotas, staffing levels, recruitment and team development.
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, health & safety and compliance.
  • Manage stock control, ordering and operational costs.

Commercial Performance

  • Take ownership of spa revenue performance, budgets and commercial targets.
  • Drive growth, treatment bookings, retail sales and guest retention.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through promotions, packages and guest engagement.
  • Use strong product knowledge to maximise treatment and retail recommendations.

Guest Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives a warm, professional and personalised experience.
  • Build strong relationships with guests and encourage repeat visits.
  • Handle feedback and complaints confidently, resolving issues promptly.

Treatment Delivery

  • Support the treatment team by carrying out treatments when required.
  • Maintain excellent treatment standards and support ongoing training and development.
  • Confidently advise guests on suitable treatments and products.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience managing a luxury spa.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience driving revenue, retail and guest loyalty.
  • Excellent operational and organisational skills.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • A recognised spa qualification such asNVQ Level 3
  • Strong knowledge of beauty treatments and massage.
  • Elemis experience is highly desirable, although training will be provided.
  • A genuine passion for wellness and delivering exceptional guest experiences
