We are seeking a dedicated Front of House Assistant to join our team at Pennine Garden Centre. Your goal will be to provide a warm welcome to all our Blooms restaurant visitors and do everything you can to make their trip a memorable one.

You will be responsible for ensuring customers are served quickly and accurately, operating the tills, ensuring the restaurant area is impeccably clean and supporting the team with whatever is needed to help create a great working environment.

The working hours for this role are: Saturdays & Sundays: 11:00am-4:00pm. This is a very demanding role so you must be comfortable working fast and being on your feet a lot of the time. Key Responsibilities

As a Front of House Assistant, your role includes but is not limited to these duties:

  • Welcoming and seating customers
  • Taking customer orders
  • Assisting with menu and beverage recommendations
  • Preparing and serving beverage and food orders
  • Setting tables
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Cleaning tables and removing used cutlery
  • Communicating effectively with the kitchen and staff members
  • Reporting to shifts on time in impeccable uniform

Ideally, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working in a catering environment – (preferable but not mandatory)
  • Is friendly and sociable
