Sitehop is a technology startup building a faster, better, greener alternative to the encryption options on the market today. Unlike software, our product delivers super-fast encryption and is easily deployed onto network hardware. Sitehop is disrupting the cybersecurity and networking market by developing hardware products and solutions that deliver ultra-high speed, low latency, cryptography solutions for Cloud Infrastructure, 5G Telecom, and Industry 4.0 solutions. We seek talented and driven individuals to be an impactful part of our journey. This is an opportunity for entrepreneurial innovators who are comfortable working in a dynamic environment on game-changing technology.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager who thrives in complex environments where hardware, software, security, and real-world deployment collide. You’ll own the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical initiatives across engineering, product, operations, and external partners. We are a growing company operating at the intersection of hardware, software, and security. This means priorities can evolve quickly, and this role requires someone who can adapt plans pragmatically as the business learns and scales. This is not a passive Gantt-chart role. You’ll be hands-on, curious, and comfortable translating between engineers, product leaders, and non-technical stakeholders while keeping delivery on track. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced/startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of technical projects across software, hardware, and infrastructure
  • Build and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers
  • Proactively identify blockers, risks, and trade-offs, escalating with clarity and solutions
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities

Technical Coordination

  • Act as the connective tissue between engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams
  • Translate technical complexity into clear updates for non-technical stakeholders
  • Work closely with engineers to understand system architecture, constraints, and dependencies
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, manufacturers, and integration partners where required

Process & Ways of Working

  • Improve delivery processes without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Support agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) appropriate to a hardware–software environment
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, estimation, and execution
  • Help scale delivery discipline as the company grows
  • Manage internal and external expectations with confidence and transparency
  • Support customer-facing or deployment-related projects where timelines and trust are critical
  • Ensure security, compliance, and operational considerations are factored into delivery plans

Scaling & Startup Delivery

  • Operate effectively in an environment where process is evolving and not everything is fully defined
  • Help shape delivery practices rather than simply follow established ones
  • Balance short-term execution with longer-term structural improvements
  • Support leadership by providing clarity and options when trade-offs are required
  • Keep momentum during periods of rapid change, growth, or constraint

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Delivery Manager, or similar role
  • Strong technical literacy with software systems (APIs, cloud platforms, integrations)
  • Experience working with engineering teams in a product-led environment
  • Confidence managing ambiguity, competing priorities, and fast-changing requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience working with hardware-enabled products, IoT, or physical security systems
  • Exposure to security-conscious environments (critical infrastructure, fintech, govtech, etc.)
  • Experience in a startup or scale-up, especially pre– or post–Series A
  • Familiarity with deployments across multiple regions (UK, US, EMEA, APAC)
  • Understanding of compliance, risk, or regulated environments.

How You Work

  • You’re calm under pressure and structured without being rigid
  • You ask the uncomfortable questions early rather than firefight later
  • You balance speed with quality and understand when “good enough” is the right call.
