About the Role

The Sales Support Administrator (UK & International) is a key member of the Sales team, providing essential support across both UK and International sales operations. The role covers customer service, order processing, quotations and sales administration, ensuring customers receive aconsistent and high-quality experience.

The role supports two distinct areas of the business. The UK operation involves a larger sales team and high-volume order processing, while the International operation involves more complex export orders, quotations and associated documentation. You will work across both areas, with work allocated based on business priorities.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly to different ways of working, and is comfortable switching between high-volume transactional tasks and more detailed, complex administration. You will play an important part in keeping the sales function running smoothly, supporting colleagues and ensuring customers receive timely and accurate information.

You will communicate confidently with customers and colleaguesacross multiple channels, using your initiative to resolve issues, managepriorities and keep work progressing. A key part of the role is building strongrelationships across the business and contributing to continuous improvement inhow we work.

You will communicate with customers via telephone, email and, where required, face-to-face or virtual meetings. You will also develop a strong understanding of Lindy products in order to support customers effectively and resolve basic queries at first point of contact whereverpossible.

What you’ll be doing

  • Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently across UK and International sales
  • Producing quotations, invoices and supporting sales documentation
  • Managing customer queries via email, telephone and other channels
  • Supporting export orders, including documentation and shipping requirements
  • Maintaining accurate records using CRM systems
  • Supporting credit applications and customer account setup
  • Liaising with customers, sales teams, warehouse and finance to resolve issues
  • Handling returns and delivery queries with couriers and logistics partners
  • Following up quotations and supporting sales activity where required
  • Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying more efficient ways of working
  • Building strong working relationships across the wider business

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone with the right mindset as much as experience. The ideal person will:

  • Have strong customer service and communication skills
  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Be comfortable managing changing priorities and working across different processes
  • Use initiative to solve problems and keep work progressing
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and CRM systems such as Dynamics
  • Enjoy a varied role combining high-volume processing with more detailed administration
  • Build strong relationships across teams and with customers
  • Take a proactive, solution-focused approach
  • Be willing to learn new systems, processes and product knowledge
  • Remain calm and effective when managing competing demands

Experience in sales support, customer service, export administration or a technical/IT/AV environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
