About our Probate Team

At Right Legal Group, our Probate team play a vital role in administering someone’s estate after they’ve passed away, ensuring their wishes are carried out and their assets are managed correctly. While that might sound technical, at its heart probate is about supporting people during a difficult and emotional time.

As a Probate Advisor, you’ll guide clients through the entire process from the initial conversation through to final estate closure. You will help executors and families understand what needs to be done, take the pressure off them, and make everything as straightforward and stress-free as possible. Our team combines practical expertise with genuine empathy, offering clear advice, handling the details, and always being there to answer questions and provide reassurance when it matters most.

The Opportunity

We’ll give you full training from the outset though our bespoke training academy in Derby! We will provide mentorship, guidance and real responsibility from day one. This is not your typical legal role. You don’t need a law degree or legal background to succeed here. What matters most is your ability to connect with people, communicate clearly, and deliver a supportive, high-quality experience during what can be an emotional time.

You’ll guide clients through the probate process from start to finish, building trust with executors and beneficiaries while ensuring everything runs smoothly, professionally, and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys talking to people, understanding their needs, and guiding them through important decisions. In this role, you will be:

  • Managing your own caseload of probate matters from initial instruction through to final completion
  • Supporting clients via phone, video calls, and face-to-face meetings
  • Explaining the probate process in a simple, clear, and empathetic way
  • Keeping clients regularly updated and confident in what’s happening
  • Using our case management systems to track and progress cases accurately
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
  • Identifying when clients may benefit from additional services and making appropriate referrals
  • Helping deliver an outstanding, consistent client experience aligned with our values
