Are you socially minded, good with people and ready to make the world a better place? Our teams of private site fundraisers are speaking with people in shopping centres, supermarkets and train stations to engage them with supporting well-loved charities working around the world: helping charities to bring in new income and helping members of the public to help causes close to their heart.

We are looking for private site fundraisers in London to join our team representing Battersea Dogs and Cats Home on a full time basis. In return, you'll receive a competitive basic salary of £16.59 (including rolled-up holiday pay) per hour, a great bonus structure that rewards open, honest and respectful fundraising, and a chance to meet new and interesting people who are committed to some of the best-loved charities in the UK.

You'll be working in train stations, shopping centres and supermarkets across London to increase awareness of charities' brands and engage people you meet to play their lotteries.

To be successful in the role, we expect you to have:

  • Strong people skills – able to communicate with supporters and colleagues with confidence and fluency
  • Strong teamwork and good interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
  • Ability to communicate personably and effectively, with empathy to a diverse range of individuals
  • Excellent relationship management skills

Fundraising shifts last 6 hours with a 30 minute lunch break, and our full-time staff work five days a week worked flexibly from Monday-Saturday. We offer payment of £16.59 per hour worked (including 28 days' paid holiday each year) plus a generous bonus scheme, a company pension scheme, fortnightly payment, and fast starts for the right candidates.
