About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and motivated Residential Children’s Support Workers to join our team supporting children and young people in a residential care setting. You’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment, helping young people build confidence, stability, and positive futures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to children and young people
- Promote independence, positive behaviour, and healthy routines
- Build trusting, professional relationships with young people
- Support with education, activities, appointments, and daily living
- Implement care plans and risk assessments
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people
- Resilience, patience, and strong communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
- Experience in residential childcare is desirable but not essential
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
- A full UK driving licence (preferred, if applicable)
