The Role:
We are looking to recruit a Non Ferrous Buyer with Non-Ferrous knowledge to join our established team based at our Metal Recycling Park in Preston.
What you will be doing:
- Follow company policy to identify and purchase ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals
- Sort non-ferrous metals into correct grades as directed by non-ferrous manager
- Deal with customers and members of the public following company guidelines and customer service guidelines
- Ensure stock is sorted and weighed correctly as directed by non-ferrous manager
- Work with batteries, catalytic converter as well as non ferrous
- To adhere to all Health and Safety procedures
- To keep the area you are working in clean and tidy
- Any other duties as required
- Travel to nationwide sites if / when required
Who you are:
- Scrap metal experience
- Enjoy working with customers
- Experienced FLT driver
- Enjoy working outdoors
