We need a Duty Manager to help run and make our Port Talbot cinema a great place to visit and work!

Duty Managers have a key role as part of a busy cinema.

Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a successful team will be required in this role.

You will be responsible for supporting the Cinema Manager in the day-to-day running of the cinema.

You will be there to lead and guide the Front of House Assistants.

A desire to work within a successful team and having a helpful and approachable personality is definitely required for this role.

Previous supervisory experience would be a big advantage for this role.

What does the job involve?

  • Providing friendly and helpful service to customers
  • Supervising team members and ensuring key jobs get done
  • Supporting the management team in ensuring compliance with company guidelines
  • Communicating targets and objectives to the team
  • Helping the management to train team members
  • Cash management responsibilities
  • Driving concession sales
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all public areas of the cinema
  • Delivering high standards of presentation and display
  • Putting stock out in the concessions areas
  • Keeping up to date with your knowledge of film releases
  • Working as part of a team
  • You will need to be available for evening shifts and during all school holiday periods

Must be available 0900 - 2330 all days, as hours are on a rota basis. You will be expected to do 2-3 close shifts per week finishing around 11pm.

Previous customer facing retail management experience is essential for this role.
