We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our dynamic team in the building and construction industry in Perth, Scotland.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are considered in the estimation process.
- Analyse labour, material, and overhead costs to provide comprehensive and competitive bids.
- Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing for materials and services to ensure accuracy in future estimates.
- Review and assess subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and documentation for management review.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the building and construction industry.
- Proficient in using estimating software and tools, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of current building regulations and standards in the UK.
